Louise Claire was born in Solihull and studied Decorative Arts at Nottingham Trent University. After graduating with Honors in 1997, she continued in education to focus on Textile design by doing a Masters in Fashion and Textiles.

During this time, Louise worked for Green Design SRL in Lake Como, Italy, designing fashion fabrics for the Fashion Industry. She says “It was an excellent experience, living and working there, getting to know different customer requirements through designing hand painted fabrics for Fashion Houses”.

After her education Louise started her own business ‘Louise Claire Textiles’, where she created a range of hand dyed silk screen printed fashion accessories, textile artwork and greetings cards, Inspired by Architecture and travel. She says “I love to travel, I love to soak up the architectural design, you see from places like India, France and Italy”.

Louise currently runs creative workshops from her home in Solihull.
